What we collect, and what we don’t.

Short version: we run Google Analytics, it only loads if you accept the prompt, and if you send an enquiry we use those details to answer it and nothing else.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which destinations, guides and articles people actually read, so we know what to write next.

Nothing is loaded until you choose. If you decline, no Google script is requested, no cookie is set, and no request is made to Google at all: the banner is not decorating a tag that already fired. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and records anonymised page views. IP anonymisation is enabled.

To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the prompt will appear again.

Enquiries

When you send an enquiry we receive the name, email address and message you typed, plus the IP address the request came from, which is used for basic spam protection.

We use it to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to pass it to the guide it concerns. We do not add you to a marketing list and we do not sell or share it with anyone else.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Hostinger. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs including IP addresses, which are used for security and to diagnose faults.

Your choices

You can decline analytics at any time, and you can ask us to delete any enquiry you have sent. Email hello@tourismplans.in and we will action it.

Changes

This platform is in active development. If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and anything materially new will be flagged on the site rather than quietly added here.
